British cycling will never be the same after the summer of 2012. And British cycling festivals will change in 2013 with The first Norfolk Pedal, a May bank holiday weekend of challenging cycle rides and events, activities, entertainment and fabulous food and beer based in the stunning setting of Holkham Hall.
For the serious rider, the main event is 250 miles of testing, competitive in
3 Sportives - 100 miles on day 1, 100 miles on day 2 and 50 miles on day 3 - over courses designed to show you that Norfolk is beautiful biking country and not as flat as you might imagine.
For riders of all abilities and ages, we offer the challenge of 50K and 20K timed rides, an off-road course, grass track racing and even a sedate traffic-free tour of Holkham's famous park.
The rides are fully supported with time chips, feeding stations and marshals. On site we have mechanics, training for younger riders and a trade village with all the latest gear to browse and buy.
Join us alone or with your friends, club or family, for one day or the whole weekend. We have on-site parking and camping plus nearby hotel or B&B accommodation and we
are laying on great food and evening entertainment for both riders and non-riding partners and families.
The Pedal Norfolk is right in the heart of the North Norfolk coast, near stunning beaches, historic ports and holiday attractions so there's lots to keep the family entertained while you're out on the road.
